Seed to cup

The work behind each cup

Eight steps, one connected story. Open each stage to see how origin and the people behind it can stay visible from farm to cup.

  1. Coffee grower

Our coffees begin with the people who grow them. We work to build long-term relationships with coffee growers, including minimum-price commitments and access to financing where available, so each harvest can contribute to a more stable future.

  2. Cultivation and harvest

Every farm has its own growing region, altitude, varieties and harvest conditions. We share those details when documented so you can connect each coffee with the land and the people who care for it.

  3. Processing

Washed, honey, natural and experimental processes shape the character of each lot. The process listed for your coffee reflects the specific lot, not just the methods a farm may use.

  4. Milling and preparation

Drying, sorting and preparing green coffee help preserve the quality of the harvest. Where available, we connect each coffee to the mill and preparation work behind it.

  5. Roasting

At our Roasting Lab, we develop each roast around its origin, process and cup profile, bringing out the character already present in the coffee.

  6. Packaging

Our packaging protects freshness and carries the origin story forward. Coffee, farm, variety and process details help you know what is inside every bag. Disposal instructions depend on the specific packaging and local facilities.

  7. The journey to you

From our roastery to you, we use the delivery and pickup options available in your market while keeping each coffee connected to its origin.

  8. Your cup

The story continues in your cup. Grind, water and brewing method bring out different notes. Explore the coffee's farm story, or go deeper with our Academy and Roasting Lab.

Value at origin

Price tells a story, too.
