Noble Esperanza

Noble Esperanza’s coffee-growing history reaches back to 1844 in the mountains of Alajuela. Today Francisco Echandi combines that family legacy with work aimed at improving the resilience of the farm.

Coffee grows among guava, banana, poró and avocado trees. Francisco has also worked on approaches to financing that can help other growers move toward regenerative practices. The farm connects quality with long-term stewardship.
