Juanachute

High in Tarrazú, Juanachute is a four-generation family coffee operation led by Luis Anastasio ‘Tacho’ Castro.

The family works across several farms and its own micromill, exploring Caturra, Catuaí and other varieties through washed, honey, natural and experimental processing. Controlling each step helps them follow the work behind individual lots.

Through its roastery, café and barista training, Juanachute also shares that knowledge with the wider community.
