La Bella's Story

La Finca La Bella, owned by brothers, Heriberto, Steven, and Arturo Marin, is a testament to a rich coffee legacy that spans five generations, beginning with their great-grandfather. Over time, the family land was divided among his 10 children, La Bella remaining with these three brothers. Unfortunately, current low pay in the coffee industry has deterred the fifth generation from joining in the farm’s operations. Launching our Kiss The Ground initiative, we aim to create a sustainable plan to encourage the fifth generation to return and collaborate with their fathers. La Bella’s relationship with regenerative agriculture can be seen in the eyes of Heriberto as he talks about his love of life, creating a productive natural area with La Bella that deeply promotes biodiversity and a strong, healthy ecosystem.
