Noble Esperanza's Story

La Finca Noble Esperanza is a Regenified-certified coffee farm, owned and operated by Francisco Echandi, located in central Costa Rica, northwest of the capital city of San José, in the region of West Valley. Noble Eseperanza grows a wide variety of trees amongst the coffee bean plants, such as guava, plantain, and avocado, helping the soil to resist erosion, providing shade to the coffee bean plants, as well as improving the soil’s ability to absorb and retain water and carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. In addition to his high-quality coffee beans and regenerative farming practices, we at Buena Vida have a special relationship with Francisco as he was the one who helped lead the incredible program that BAC San José is developing to give regenerative farmers easy access to bank of development loans for working capital at low rates.
