• Over 80% of coffee producers are small holder farms, who struggle to make ends meet.  Less than 7% of coffee worldwide is organic, and in Costa Rica, less than 1.5% of all coffee produced is organic.

  • Costa Rica’s is one of the leading users of pesticide, employing outdated and banned agrochemicals.  This has raised concerns worldwide and the United Nations issued a warning.

  • The coffee industry is witnessing a decline in second and third generation producers, and the looming threats of climate change and degraded soils put the livelihoods of 27,000 Costa Rican coffee producers at risk.

Driven by this passion, we embarked on a mission to guarantee the highest quality certified organic specialty coffee, while tackling these challenges head on and reshaping the coffee industry. Please join our movement to ensure a brighter future for all.
