Corazon de Jesus's Story
Corazón de Jesús is a family-owned and run company producing specialty coffee in Costa Rica’s southern area of Pérez Zeledón. Since 2015, the seven members of this Alvarado Fonseca family (Jhon and Kathia, with their children Antonio, Marilyn, Eva, Abraham, and Jhoel) have focused on improving coffee bean quality through innovative processes as well as agricultural practices that improve the ecosystem where the coffee bean plants are cultivated. Their commitment to environmental sustainability and excellence as well as experimenting with different coffee bean varieties has earned them recognition in specialty coffee markets.
